It has been another highly successful weekend for Welsh banding with three out of the four titles taken by Welsh bands in the National Finals at Cheltenham. Add to that the fact that Tredegar and Cory took the top two spaces at British Open at the start of the month 2013 is becoming the year Welsh banding.
In the fourth section Ebbw Valley continued their winning ways adding yet another trophy to their bulging display cabinet. Full fourth section results.
The third section saw the only top spot taken by an English band with London & Southern Counties runners up celebrating their already guaranteed promotion to the second section with style. Full third section results.
Goodwick Brass and Tylorstown took the second and first section crowns respectively rounding off a fantastic weekend of banding. Full second section and first section results.
That might all be just a distant memory by October the 12th when the Championship Section bands battle it our at the Royal Albert Hall but can anther Welsh band make it four out of five?
