Local community band Ibstock Brick Brass, based in Coalville, are looking for players to enhance their sections. The band practice on a Monday and Thursday evening at Ebenezer Church in Coalville. Under the direction of the musical director Chris Banks, the band are preparing for the Midlands Area Championships in February and require players to complete their line-up. The band welcome all players who may be interested, but in particular cornets and trombones. Over the past year the band have played at various events including local parks, birthday celebrations, summer shows to festive concerts at Christmas.
