Spreadbury takes his leave from St Pinnock

East Cornwall's St Pinnock Band have announced the departure of musical director, Chris Spreadbury, after four and a half years at the helm.
Under Chris, the band became SWBBA Second Section Champions in 2011, Exmouth Entertainment Champions in 2011 and 2012 and gained promotion to the 1st section in 2013.
Chris states, "I've had a fantastic few years with the band but I feel it is time to move on. I wish the band well for the future - they are a greatbunch of people and I'm sure their success will continue".
The band will also be saying goodbye to Chris's partner and band Principal Cornet player, Lauren Carroll.
David Tamblin, band chairman states, "We would like to thank Chris and Lauren for all their help over the last four and a half years. Their dedication and commitment ensured that the band made steady improvement in all departments and produced some memorable performances at contests and concerts during this time".
The band now looks forward to completing their line up by filling the vacated conducting position in time for the Autumn Season.
