New MD at Cubbington

The band are pleased to announce Mark Allison as our new MD. Mark has a wealth of experience in music having played with the William Davis, Desford and Black Dyke bands and as a professional/semi professional trumpet player in theatre, orchestral, jazz and ensemble work. His work has included both Songs of Praise & Top of the Pops ! His extensive conducting work includes Brass Bands, Wind Bands and Jazz Ensembles. Mark is currently Deputy Head of the Coventry Performing Arts Service and lives locally with his ‘musical’ family.

Mark is busy preparing the band for our summer programme and our next big event at the Royal spa Centre, Leamington on the 9th May. The band is appearing as the guest of Rock Choir to raise money for the RNLI.
