Besses Boys have just returned to the UK following their fantastic tour to the Rhineland Region of Germany under the direction of MD James Holt.
Concerts were held in Boppard, Bad Munster and Cochem where audiences heaped praise on the band with fantastic performances including ‘When Thunder Calls’, ‘Selection from Wicked’ and ‘Nightingale Dances’ and fine performances from several soloists, and each show ending with the Bands current favourite – ‘Happy’ as an encore.
The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly in Bad Munster where the hall was overflowing and side doors were opened and allow audience members to sit in the surrounding gardens and enjoy a fantastic concert.
MD James Holt said: “The band performed superbly and were really taken by the warm support from the people of Germany. It’s been a while since the Band have had the opportunity to go on tour but following the huge success of this one we’ve come back and planning is already underway for a tour to Cornwall next year before our next European trip, hopefully to Italy, in 2016.”
