There was a great day of music making to enjoy at the Hawth Theatre in Crawley on Sunday 27th April, with 13 bands playing to an appreciative audience and adjudicator Paul Cosh at the scaba Spring Contest.
The Tilbury Band directed by Andrew Austin took the First Section honours, with very nearly a clean sweep of the prizes on offer. Cranbrook Town under Ian Lanceley claimed victory in the Second section for the second year running, with Brighton & Hove City Brass topping the Third Section conducted by Matthew Hackett. Shanklin Town Youth won the Youth Section.
