New Flugel Horn at Besses Boys Band

Besses Boys are delighted to announce the signing of Steph Coward to the position of Flugel Horn within the band. Following performances on the front row cornet bench for both the Preston and Area contests Steph has been offered the chance to become a full time member of the band on the Flugel seat and accepted.
Speaking of the appointment BBB MD James Holt said
“I am delighted Steph has agreed to take a position within the band, we first met a few years ago when I helped out Besses O’ Th’ Barn and Steph was on principal cornet. I was aware Steph wasn’t playing with anyone and contacted her regarding helping us out at the two contests earlier this year. Steph agreed and did a great job and knowing that the Flugel seat was available I had no hesitation offering her the job and I am delighted she has joined. I would like to thank Tom Ridgley who had been playing Flugel and now returns to his position on the front row”
All at Besses Boys Band would like to welcome Steph to the band and wish her a long and successful tenure.
