New Development Band 'Gateway Brass' Launched by Skipton Brass

Skipton Brass, a Yorkshire based 4th section brass band are securing the tradition of brass banding in Skipton with the formation of Gateway Brass
This development band is being formed to educate those who wish to play brass music, from absolute beginners to those who have some knowledge.
Additionally the band will also serve as a feeder band for Skipton Brass, ensuring that a regular influx of new talent will keep the historic traditions of Skipton Brass alive well into the future.
People who are interested in learning to play a brass instrument are invited to a meeting of Gateway Brass at The Common Room, Aireville School, Skipton between 6pm and 7pm on Monday 10th June at which the Gateway Brass team will provide more information about the band, subscription costs and payment options, as well as full details of what will be included in the new service.
There will of course also be an opportunity to try out some brass instruments and register to join.
