On Feb 21st 2015, 7:00PM at Studentzone at Manchester Metropolitan University’s Cheshire Campus

Crewe-based The Co-operative Funeralcare Band North West has arranged a Preview Evening in the Studentzone at Manchester Metropolitan University’s Cheshire Campus on Saturday 21st February from 7-9.30pm.  Featuring five brass bands from the North West and Midlands areas, the event is a unique opportunity to hear all the set competition works for the Regional Brass Band Championships, 2015.

The evening is completely free of charge, thanks to the support of Manchester Metropolitan University, and last year was very well attended. 

The running order and programme is now confirmed:

7pm Crewe Brass (First section)

7.30pm Trentham Brass (Third section)

8.00pm Audley Brass (Fourth section)
Musical Director – Tom Hancock

8.30pm The Co-operative Funeralcare Band North West (Championship section)

Phoenix from War of the Worlds by Peter Graham

9.00pm City of Chester (Second section)
Musical Director – Phil Mottershead
Strike Up the Band by George Gershwin, arr Goff Richards
Variations on Maccabeus by Kevin Norbury

The event and parking is completely free and there is no need to book.  The bar will be open from 6.45pm and the music starts at 7pm prompt.
