St Austell Town Band are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Tracey Osborne on Solo Horn. Tracey originally started her brass banding in St Austell B Band back in 1985 and stayed with them until they disbanded. Tracey then moved to Lostwithiel Brass 88 and had a brief spell with Bude Youth Band. Tracey has for the past 23yrs been a loyal and hard working member of the Mount Charles Band, starting on 2nd horn and working her way up to being a very accomplised solo horn player.
Tracey dedicates her life to brass banding and has helped most bands out in Cornwall over the years. At St Austell we have been very fortunate that Tracey has been playing regularly with us for the past 9 months, and we're delighted that she has now decided to make the move a permanent move.
The band are now working hard towards Wychavon Contest where we will be directed by Steve Sykes.
