2014 has started with a BANG for St Austell Youth Band as they welcome 3 new percussionists. Musical Director & well-known percussionist, Mark Arnold, is delighted that Lauren, Tom & Joseph have joined Jack and Dan to provide him with a total of five in the percussion section! The Bandroom certainly comes alive from 9am on a Saturday morning when Mark starts his percussion lessons prior to the full Youth Band rehearsal.
In addition to the 3 percussionists the band has also welcomed Asha & Emily to the cornet section. All of our new players will be performing at the bands next concert which is on Saturday 1st March 11am at the St Austell Bandclub. Everyone is welcome to come along to support them.
