The runners for the SWBBA organised Exmouth Entertainment Contest with the adjudicator, Paul Norley, listening to 12 bands on the day at the Pavilion in Exmouth.
Paul learnt to play with the nearby Totnes Band and is now the Director of Music for The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas.
The contest takes place on Saturday 7th September 2013 and the day will also see "Fringe Concerts" taking place in The Pavilion Gardens (adjacent to The Pavilion) with each band playing a 30 minute slot.
