Mount Charles Band are preparing for their 10th anniversary of performing at The Minack Theatre, Porthcurno.

It is over a decade ago that the idea first came about to perform a Proms concert at the world famous Minack Theatre.

From its glorious surroundings coupled with a spectacular fireworks display, Sir Edward Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance and Tchaikovsky's  1812 overture the Minack Theatre is the perfect setting.

Over the years the Mount Charles Band has been conducted by many great conductors and this year we see the return of the legendary Richard Evans at the helm with his fantastic humour and conducting style hes always a favourite with the audience.

This year also sees the return of singing sensation Rebecca Moon. Rebecca first sang with the band three years ago and she says the Proms at the Minack is the highlight of her calender.

The Proms at the Minack always attracts a large audience so book your tickets, bring your flags and singing voices and what ever the the weather, rain or shine enjoy this fantastic occasion with Mount Charles Band.

 
This years Proms at the Minack is on Saturday 28th September at 6.30pm , Sunday 29th September at 2pm and Sunday evening at 6.30pm.
