Staines Brass have announced the appointment of their new musical director, Jonathan Pippen with immediate effect.

Jonathan has been working closely with the band in recent months since the departure of Melvin White and has already built a good working relationship with the band members.

A spokesman for the band commentated: "The band is looking forward to working with Jon and hope that we have a bright and successful future ahead.  His first engagement with the band will be a concert at St Peter’s Church, Staines on Saturday 14th September where we will also be saying farewell to Melvin and Susan White."
