New Tuba player for Black Dyke

Black Dyke is pleased to confirm Joshua Flynn will be joining on Eb Tuba.

Josh is a second year student at the RNCM studying with Ewan Easton, principal tuba of the Halle Orchestra. Josh is a past solo tuba of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain, and a proud member of Oldham Lees Band.

Nicholas Childs' commented "Josh has a great personality and as well as gaining valuable experience in the band he will have the opportunity to work with Black Dyke's tuba soloist, Joe Cook. 

Phil Goodwin, Black Dyke's long-serving tuba player commented “I've had the pleasure of working with Josh for the last five years or so at the NYBBGB, where he has displayed much potential. We are pleased to welcome him into the section."
