Lip Injury Set Back for Foden's

More news from Fodens Band

Foden's Band defence of the National Championships has been dealt a blow following a lip injury to their Principal Cornet Mark Wilkinson.

In a statement on Facebook a spokesperson for Foden's Band commentated:

On Saturday Foden's will defend our National title without the help of Mark Wilkinson. Mark suffered a lip injury last Thursday which means he is unable to put any pressure on the lip and has been advised to rest it to enable it to heal and prevent further damage.

Although disappointed the bands preparation is going very well and the band are looking forward to defending its title
