A new web based service to help people looking to learn a brass instrument find a band has been launched.

Learn Brass is looking for brass bands that offer tuition to beginner and intermediate to register on the site and enter the location searchable database of bands.

Chris Hatch, site creator, told Empty Chairs: "The first phase of this project is to find the bands offering lessons. Once we have build up a database of bands across the country the second phase will be to share resources and stragegies to grow the next generation of brass players."

If your band offers brass lessons, either free or with a small charge, please register on the Learn Brass website.
