Following their Third Place finish at the Bolsover Festival of Brass, Ibstock Brick Brass are excited to announce that Dave Lea will be taking up the position of Musical Director of the Band.  Dave brings a wealth of experience from both the UK and Global Brass Banding world, and the band are looking forward to start preparation of the Butlin’s Brass Band Contest.  Speaking on behalf of Ibstock Brick Brass, Band Manager, says “The band are thrilled with the appointment of Dave Lea and are looking forward to the challenge ahead. Dave is pushing the band, but all players are fired up and raring to go and accept the challenge”.  Speaking of his new appointment, Dave says “I am so pleased to work with this team of committed band people and to make good music together”. Ibstock Brick Brass will next be performing at Birstall Methodist Church on the 3rd of November at 7pm
