More news from Betteshanger Colliery Welfare Band

Betteshanger Colliery Welfare Band will be opening the season of band concerts by performing at the Deal Memorial Bandstand this Sunday. We will be featuring our "Jewel in the crown" Betteshanger Brass Academy, who now have 26 members. Come and join us and listen to an exciting programme of foot tapping music from both bands - there will be something for everyone. The senior band has attracted 9 new players this year however we are still looking for someone to fill the Solo Euphonium position! Will Powell is a fantastic player and attends most rehearsal, however is unable to do any weekend engagements due to his profession as a preacher which takes him all over the Country at weekends! If you feel you've got what it takes to audition for this position, IM me, or email betteshanger@gmail.com. We are looking for a competent experienced player who will be prepared to assist us in some exciting ventures planned for the next year. Join a band whose motto is "quality, not quantity" and you’ll be surprised how much musical talent we have here in the Betteshanger Band, a band who prides themselves as one of the finest bands in Kent.
