Foss Dyke Band returned to its old stomping ground on 25th May when it performed a concert in North Hykeham to celebrate the town's 25th anniversary of their twinning with Denzlingen, Germany.

Foss Dyke, The Lincolnshire Brass Band originated as the North Hykeham and District Concert Band in 1974 becoming the Foss Dyke Band in 1984 for contesting purposes. 

The band remained in North Hykeham for a number of years and in 1989 played a concert for the people of Denzlingen when they visited North Hykeham for the very first time.

Now situated just up the road in their purpose built bandroom in the village of Waddington the band always enjoy performing for the people of North Hykeham.
